Theme Installation:
- Go to Appearance – Themes – Add New – Upload Theme – Choose File. Upload theme zip file and click Install Now. Then Click Activate.
- Go to Appearance – Install Plugins. Install and Activate the recommended plugins.
- Go to Appearance – Customize – Homepage Settings. Select A static page. Set Homepage and Posts Page as “Home” and “Blog”. Click Publish and refresh the customizer.
- Go to Appearance – Customize – Header Top – Contact Info. Click Show Contact Info. Enter the details. Similary go to Social Icons Panel, click Show Social Links and enter the url.
- Go to Customizer – Front Page Sections – Featured Slider – Click Enable Featured Slider Section. Set Number of Slide Items (max: 3). Then Select Content Type: Page or Post according to your wish. Then Select Page or Post according to Content Type to display the slider section. Similarly Enable other sections (Featured Services, Featured Gallery, Featured Team, Featured Testimonial, Blog Section.)
How to Add Icon in Menu?
- Go to Appearance – Menus – Write Menu Name as “Primary Menu” and click Create Menu. Add Some Menu items and select Menu Settings: Display Location as Primary. Click Save Menu.
- Click on Screen Options on top right side of the window. Select CSS Classes.
- Expand a Menu Item and in CSS Classes (optional), write the icon classname. Choose Icons : Click Here
- For Example: Home icon classname will be: fas fa-home (Check here)
How to Add or Change Header Image?
- Go to Appearance – Customize – Header Image .
- Click Add New Image and upload a image.
- Click Publish and refresh the customizer.
How to Change Site Title and Tagline text?
- Go to Appearance – Customize – Site Identity.
- Write your own Site Title and Tagline text.
How to Change Site Title and Tagline Color?
- Go to Appearance – Customize – Colors.
- Select your own Header Text Color.
How to Change Sidebar Layout in page or post?
- Go to Appearance – Customize – Theme Options – Layout Option. Choose the layout for Blog, Archive, Page and Single Post.
How to Change Excerpt Length for blog posts?
- Go to Appearance – Customize – Theme Options – Excerpt Length. Set Excerpt Length value.
How to Change Blog Title?
- Go to Appearance – Customize – Theme Options – Blog Title. Rename it or remove the text to remove the title.
How to Change the Learn More Button Text?
- Go to Appearance – Customize – Theme Options – Read More Text. Rename the Learn More text.
How to Change Footer Copyright text?
- Go to Appearance – Customize – Theme Options – Footer Setting. Rename the copyright text. Note: You cannot change the text: Theme Kids School by Creativ Themes. You have to purchase pro to remove that.
How to Add widgets in footer and sidebar?
- Go to Appearance – Widgets.
- Add the widgets that you want to sidebar and footer column 1,2,3 and 4.
